@jon And here in the US (and many other countries), we need better and safer pedestrian, bicycle, and public transit infrastructure. This would go a long way in keeping people out of cars.

@cmccullough , that would clearly help as well. I think the problems need to be attacked from every angle. Better public transport, bike lanes, etc. More EVs. More and better batteries. More windmills, solar panels, heat pumps and various other green tech. Less Crypto and Blockchain.
