UnifiedPush is cool. For timely notifications, we neither depend on tech giants nor worry about apps draining battery by constantly running. That being said, tech debt is a big barrier to configuring things to work just as neatly. RE: https://edmontonian.social/notes/aldp78cdq3ak02lp
