@jbigham @ElenLeFoll @floe @flowdie @harvardhci @cmuhcii @hcigroup @jovermeulen #cvpr papers are still listed in IEEExplore btw - they simply gave IEEE a choice: Either include the papers our don't. Then we are gone. We are big enough. We don't need you.
CHI and CSCW could easily do the same.

@abulling @ElenLeFoll @floe @flowdie @harvardhci @cmuhcii @hcigroup @jovermeulen yeah, I don’t necessarily disagree, but requires lots of work by someone, and always worth thinking about what it’ll get replaced with, definitely not everyone loves the sigchi exec committee’s every decision, ACL had a huge backlash, etc
