Fedi! Lookie! A shiny thing arrived! This is a Diamond Mako, a clone of the #Psion Revo Plus. I'm more of a Series 3mx man, and I've never loved the Revo keyboard. But it does have a certain charm to it, feeling a lot closer in format to the Series 3 than the Series 5. It probably has the best implementation of EPOC32 before Symbian came along, and it also has a great screen. This one has been refurbished and had the batteries replaced by @smallsolar (not an easy job). I already had a sturdy case, so I'll be keeping it in that.

Mental note: Set a monthly alarm to make sure the batteries are still charged.

@thelastpsion Interesting, did Psion license the system to other manufacturers? @smallsolar

@thelastpsion @smallsolar I had a Revo back in the day, I loved it so much. I learned OPL programming on it. The hinge eventually broke on it unfortunately. I also used to have a Siena but it died when I accidentally soaked it in Coca Cola.

@thelastpsion I sold my Psion 5 and replaced it with a Revo, because I wanted something more compact, but in practice I found it was not as good as the 5 as a computer (especially, as you say, the keyboard), and still too bulky to be carried around every day in a pocket. Also the dock was really annoying! Anyway, nice to see one again.
