@bimmer Alternate version: the exterior of the house looks ok, but that's only the surface decor. Everything solid in the house is particle board. Window frames? Particle board. Ductwork? Particle board. Load-bearing walls? Extra-thick particle board. Electrical wiring? Ok, they actually kind of listened to the one stodgy old structural engineer who advised them to "not roll their own electrical", but everything that's not a wire or otherwise conductive is particle board. The developer-approved response to something going wrong in a room in your new house is to extrude an entire new room for you out of particle board (after first making sure there are enough Particle Board Tokens in your account to do the whole room before you start). Using conventional tools like hammers, drills, and actual structural materials is old school, a sign you are stuck in the past, and must be shunned.
