@quinn though it's not like those people have been any better at making laws to ban social media from harming children. New York passed a problematic SAFE for Kids act a few years ago, and the only practical effect it's had that I've seen is that Instagram now has to get parental permission (I don't know how they do that for kids who have lied about their age) before poisoning my teen.
