@KolokokoBird Highly recommended.
#googlemaps excels at streetview. But so far I haven't seen anything that comes close to the level of customization that #OSMAnd offers, like different preferences for vehicle, bike, walking, and boat.
Also, OSMAnd offers offline navigation - perfect for repurposing that old #smartphone.

@peteorrall Thanks. I will use it tomorrow on my trip to the city, and we will see how that goes. I don't suppose it gives alert notices about accidents ahead, speed traps, etc, though, which is so handy.
