@nmn @jonikorpi Then don't use web components and Lit - that's the beauty of it all, you can use what you want and ignore the rest. I happen to find web components and Lit brilliant for my needs and don't find them stupid at all.

@paulhmason @jonikorpi I know you can use just lit-html I used the word “overshadowed” to explain how few people know you can do that.
