Not to dismiss geopolitics altogether as a field of inquiry. But I align with Todd wrt to what a limited hangout it is. When at age 26 he correctly predicted the fall of the SU, he did it on the basis of demography, thus punking the geopolitics "specialists."
The left neglects at its peril the importance of "sovereignty from below."

@PariaSansPortefeuille No apologies necessary! I think the instance I'm on has a 5000 character limit, which I know has allowed me to ramble at times. I do want to get back to you about your mention of emancipatory projects amongst other thins, but it will have to be later as I have already spent far too much time online!
