Got nerd-sniped into thinking about modeling Wordle as a constraint-solving problem by my partner this morning, and bootstrapped something basic over lunch. It's doing _okay_ but not, like, amazing. ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ nidal ⬜🟨⬜🟨⬜ frosh ⬜🟨🟩⬜🟨 yurts 🟩⬜🟩🟩⬜ sprug 🟩⬜🟩🟩⬜ serum 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 scrub

Currently it's just repeating a two-phase strategy: Given the set of valid 5-letter guesses, choose one _at random_ (without replacement). Given the sequence of colors that the game produces in result, build a set of constraints and pare down the valid guess set. Repeat. So, none of the strategies you see in an advance human player, at the moment.

@cliffle random is interesting. i treated it like passwords but there are limited choices given language. start with a word that contains key letters and usually can solve within 3
