@Barbramon1 Another factoid from a few years ago is that there were a significant number of citizens/residents who can only be reached by US Mail. Acknowledging the many rural areas in our country, I suspect that is still true.

@bass4dking Exactly. There are dead zones in many rural areas. There are also families who can't afford broadband even if it became available, and there are many who can't afford the needed equpment. The ACP, a Biden program that gave discounts to low income families on both service and equipment, was not renewed by Congress in 2024. Over 20 million families lost their subsidy, causing millions to lose broadband. It was a sad day, a step backward for the US.
