Zeiss PhotoFusion X certainly is a massive improvement over the earlier PhotoFusion.
It darkens and lightens up quicker. It's clearer in a dark room and I believe it's even darker in brightest sunlight settings.
PhotoFusion X is built on the BlueGuard technology which reduces harmful invisible blue light spectrum.

Anyway what I wanted to say apart from that ad is that I have those old and new versions in gray and I think that is most striking perhaps other than the speed is the colour. The old PhotoFusion grey had a noticeably more blue tint compared to the new one. That is, colour accuracy certainly improved in highly lit scenarios.
