@benroyce Not that I'd be in a mad rush to do so but I was born Italian in the Netherlands. When my dad decided to take the Dutch nationality this was also applied to me and my sister. I only discovered this recently; I thought I had always been Dutch. Anyhoooo. I'm more likely to apply for the Irish nationality since I live here, rather than try to reclaim my Italian one 🙂

@rozeboosje the nice thing is you're in the EU regardless, so it doesn't matter much anymore since you have free movement. but... i don't know if various countries have weird little laws that might be a snag in some endeavour or another
