1/ Solving the pigeon problem in cities:
Pigeons in cities:
• City pigeons are not wild animals, they are descendants of pets (similar to wild dogs or cats in cities).
• Pigeons actually eat grains, but in cities they mostly find bread. However, that doesn’t fill them up – which is why they constantly walk around and search for more food. Satiated pigeons don’t do that; you won’t see them.

2/ The city of Kassel (Germany) provides a loft for pigeons – which has two benefits: • Humans can control their population, by swapping real eggs with plastic eggs. • They get proper food, fresh water and a safe home. • The doves spend 80% of their time in the loft and leave their excrements there.
