@technodad @gknauss @lisamelton It's true. Helped my neighbor pair a remote to their garage door opener. It wasn't working at all (LED flickered or didn't light when the button was pressed). We removed the Duracell CR2032, which had the "kid safe" icon on it, rubbed it with isopropyl alcohol, and voila, nice bright flashes. I now order Panasonics in quantity from Digi-Key, they're not coated.
