advertising that your organization dedicated to adjudicating journalists' claims is staffed with ex-military and ex-intelligence kinda of feels like you're trying to appeal to a child's understanding of what an investigation is. that being said i think what they're really doing is trying to name people who will seem neutral (or favorable) to technofascists but who they can sell as being picked for their investigative prowess rather than their ideology.
