@mms I used to work in Java for a while and used https://github.com/emacs-lsp/lsp-java. It was good for navigation, autocomplete and error detection, but its formatting style was different from IntelliJ IDEA's style. This created problems, as my coworkers exclusively used the latter. In addition, dap sometimes didn't work well for debugging, but it was still better than having to look for an obscure setting in IntelliJ just to make the debugger work on Java 17+. What prompted you to make the jump from Ruby to Java?
