@kayeluvian background checks aren't important to a guy like Starmer who you went to school with is also, its like how the BBC would never hire a real journalist to the news room or allow them to ask probing questions to powerful figures you get power from loyalty to power, your crimes be damned Starmer isn't dumb, he's the symptom of a wider culture. in group them, out group us he doesn't give a shit about background checks until it bites him in the ass
