I think the Presidential use of force authorization only lasts for 60 days and then he has to have congressional approval or at least a 30 day extension so it is illegal now. (War Powers Resolution of 1973.). Before that the Constitution reads that only Congress can declare War.

@Alvin yeah, I'm pretty sure he can only wage war for 60 days without the Congressional approval, but technically, he's only whooping Iran since roughly a month now, so he still has some time. I mean, when did the operation officially started, end of February?
