@caseyliss @jaytorres And btw, Tesla *IS* making a bigger family car. Not just the new longer Model Y L 6-seater, which was already launched in Asia and Australia and is a huge hit there, but a true 3-row SUV as well. In the meantime, Model Y is the best-selling car in the world (again - it swapped places with the RAV4 briefly), CT is the best-selling EV pickup, and the new lower-cost AWD Cybertruck is sold out until Spring 2027. So I'm not sure Elon's "fragile ego" is the problem here.
