"So, for what were they using the reconciliation process overnight? Newsfucker, they’re starting the process to give more money to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other immigration stormtroopers to expel workers whose expulsion will raise prices on the food that Senate Republicans just voted against helping Americans afford." https://thefuckingnews.substack.com/p/foreign-aid-is-back-for-oil-billionaires?utm_source=post-email-title&publication_id=247716&post_id=195182661&utm_campaign=email-post-title&isFreemail=true&r=38323&triedRedirect=true&utm_medium=email

"So, yes, literally in the same 24 hours that Bessent told the Senate that the Trump administration is considering giving literal Gulf oil billionaires the financial aid it cut off for foreign poor people, the Senate also voted against aid for American poor people in favor of aid for ICE."

"How much aid? Seventy billion dollars for three years of ICE, about $70 billion more than we’re spending to preserve the actual ice at Earth’s poles that protects us from the undocumented immigration of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Fifty Republicans voted for the funding even though the Dept. of Homeland (sic) Security (DHS) is still sitting on $100 billion for ICE and other immigrant stormtrooping from last year’s One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBuBBA)."

"Sen. Rand Paul (R-TN) and Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) were the only Republicans to vote against the new ICE funding, but Paul wanted everyone to know it wasn’t to help America’s poor. No one said boo about aid for the UAE. And does the UAE even need it? The New York Times reports the UAE has “ample reserves,” normally TFN’s favorite kind of reserves."
