@Blort@social.tchncs.de when Kagi calls an external source or index, it's an anonymized API call made from our servers. Your identity, account, and IP never reach them, and queries aren't logged against you on our side. That's meaningfully different from searching Google directly. As for Quick Answer, that is AI-powered and uses multiple LLMs to provide the best possible quick and summarized results. We do not send each Quick Answer "straight to Google."
