You say Beetlejuice or Bloody Mary or anything three times and they appear. But there are billions of people who know this, with some subset saying the names at every moment; milliseconds, barely, of haunt-per-summoning. Monsters appear and vanish before they can be perceived; by the cold power of math alone they effectively no longer exist. So humans are constantly summoning demons to no effect, and the demons themselves are the ones trapped in this strange kaleidoscopic hell of endless demand.
