Because some employers want to see how you attack a problem that has no clear answer.
However, they also don't ask the question any more because it didn't correlate with job performance, so take from that what you will.

Amazing :3 I would answer "die" or "wait". Either I'm put in there which can just put me back down or someone will come looking within a couple days. So effectively [I think] it has no answer.
