Fediverse #music #synthesizer players, I need your kind help โค๏ธ
I haven't played for 10 years (on a #Yamaha PSR435) and want to get back to it.
I'm a modest player. I love rock, ballads, 90s music... I can play chords, but if melody is too rich, I can't play both ๐
A local reseller showed my the #Roland JD-Xi, looks great, but I'm afraid it will be too "electronic music" oriented, and that it might allow to make #samples and #loops but not actually play the music?
What would you recommend to play (and maybe record) chords (chords looper?), potentially record actual parts of a melody (like record 1 voice and play the other)?
Thanks a lot!

PS: #linux user ๐ and not much interested in playing with software like #garageband or #ableton stuff, I'd rather focus on the keyboard/music part Thank you!
