There is lot to be criticized about capitalism, but this sounds like before it, people were better skilled, had higher wages and did not work for rich/royal people. That would be news to me, but I am willing to learn.

@ghost_letters @gjmwoods from our perspective maybe, from our bubble. Cost of education is skyrocketing everywhere, public schools are broken. Idk, but maybe should look up numbers, for the masses it doesn’t feel that much better. Maybe the same? Different kind of unskilled but still. Hard to put into English words.
