@tnt They were a very similar device and had much of the same functionality. Its been a while, but i think you picked an eeprom type that was electrically compatible, and programmed a subset of locations. This was in the late 90s. Its also possible there were multiple types of gal with different programing requirements. I don't remember ever having a clever adapter, maybe one to just move the pins around. Its too long ago :)
