@Tatjna@moo.nz I panic bought a wheel hoe 2 months ago, and lots and lots of grain. I still don't know where I'm going to use it as they are best for a 1-5 acre plots and I only have my backyard at this stage, but I'm sure my direction will become clear in time.
I want to grow oats mainly, they are just such an awesome crop, so versatile and also tasty.

@kudra@aus.social Apparently oats are one of the best crops for home grows. I wish I liked them better. Mixed with other stuff they'd be ok though, so probably worth a look for us anyway. I feel a bit bad that I cracked up at the idea of panic buying a hoe but also it's way more useful than toilet paper.
