Kinda noticing a theme in the tech sector re: employees being shown the door. Nike, Microsoft and Meta all announcing significant layoffs and buyouts in the last few days. Every time I see these, I have to wonder how many of these people who are losing their nice fat tech jobs worked on the AI/LLM systems that are replacing them.
