Some of it is, I'm sure. But the reason I posted it was because it had a lot of detailed information which I hadn't seen before. It was literally my first post on Lemmy today, other than comments. I hope I didn't make a *faux pas*.

Sorry, you were right to post it, I am just saying this is an ongoing thing we have those of us who followed the news have known about for quite some time. Just this last summer or so there was An article In This Very intercept detailing how the feds were streamlining the buying of data broker info and distributing it to agencies, previously agencies bought it individually and many bought the same tranches of information separately. The whole thing is fucked. It's a blatant violation of the Fourth Amendment we all know it but the goddamned federal courts are fucking traitors and deserve, something something.
