@atomicpoet I remember that well - I used to be on Digg a lot...
There have been lots of smaller examples of updating/closing forums and communities, but Twitter might finally push Digg off the top spot

@badgergravling @atomicpoet forgot all about Digg For me my intro to a blogging community was Open Salon which didn’t last long but was an awesome community of writers and artists .. Some of us have migrated to other places - Twitter, Medium, FB groups - But have not achieved that early connection
