@PermaSolarPotter @gardening so on my allotment I'm one of very few people who composts, my neighbour is very much against, being convinced it creates weeds and having (legitimate!) problems with the smell when I was still getting the balance right. I think a breakthrough came when she realised she could give me her tree cuttings instead of driving it all the to green waste. She was very happy and I think I'm making progress. The other thing I've got is a demonstration bed with one side normal earth and the other side no dig compost - the Zucchinis on the compost side were more than twice the size of the earth ones and I could show how much easier it is to water compost, the water doesn't sit on the soil. I'm considering starting econads green waste service as a joke to get compost materials.
