@kitten_tech We have lovely neighbors and when we have a bounty, we share our veggies with whoever is interested. However, there are many who don’t trust food that doesn’t come from the grocery. Our closest neighbors probably agree with our lifestyle in principle but are uninterested in transitioning away from a green lawn that they have to mow and other things like that. The wife refused to eat volunteer tomatoes bc they weren’t cultivated? Lol. Is this an American thing?

@PermaSolarPotter not just American, my mother in law was similar! She choked on some lettuce in a meal we made her once - blamed it on our "weird food" until we pointed out it was actually a supermarket salad anyway 🤣
