If you were looking for ANOTHER reason to dump Meta accounts, then consider that Meta sponsors and finances the Alberta conference that is directly responsible for the closure of Safe Consumption Sites across several Canadian provinces. Also, they gave a flashy award (probably also including monetary compensation) to Dr. Nathaniel Day, a guy who co-authored the bunk study used by politicians to close SCSs, collected drug user data through Personal Health Numbers without consent, and is a major player in the Canadian Centre of Recovery Excellence (CoRE) — the Alberta government's corrupt research body for drug policy. My guess is that if you haven't already been motivated to dump Meta — you know, because of the broligarch funding a literal genocide and the 100 other reasons — then I don't expect much to change. But, here's some more info and void yelling anyway. #HarmReduction
