@soothsayer This will be a great way to experience a full Linux system, the phone experience is built for everyone and it will be much simpler and easier to find your way around than on any Android phone. It also is a complete computer, plug it into a monitor, keyboard and mouse and you can edit spreadsheets, do your work, play games and more using desktop Linux apps on your phone :) Hope that helps!

@purism@social.librem.one @soothsayer I think the Lebem 5 is a great thing, but there are still major problems with owning a cell phone. Not only is the cellular network designed to track you every 30 seconds (solved with the ability to disable the modem in Libem 5) but there is a whole philosophical and social aspect to owning a cellular phone too. I reject ownership of it for both reasons, and encourage others to follow suite. Btw, even if you have the modem off, the second you re-enable it if you are a targeted individual you could be swatted.
