damn 141. I guess titles you could never recommend to someone you know IRL don't block the path to success. What is this one actually about? I assumed it was just self insert wish fulfillment with every anime girl stereotype/trope possible and speeding through them like a mill deck in a card game, but it has to be more to not get axed before 100 chapters right?

I wouldn't call it wish fulfillment simply because a lot of his girlfriends are waaaay too crazy for me to ever want to deal with them. And deal with them he does. If anything I would say it's a story about a guy grinding himself to dust to try to be the best boyfriend possible for dozens of very different girls. Maybe the first few chapters feel like wish fulfillment, but it very quickly goes from "damn, I wish *I* were dating them" to "damn, I wish *I* were dating him". Anyways, beyond that it's just really impressive that someone is trying to make a story with 101 main characters and they're actually doing a pretty decent job of it so far. Granted Rentarou has only met 1/3 of his soulmates so far in the manga, and it looks like it's already starting to become difficult for the mangaka to give everyone the screentime they deserve, but still!
