@davidism @pathunstrom it defaults to on, not just “on” but “harvests your source code for training” in the hobbyist version now, iirc. in general their trajectory has been pretty bad lately, but then, so has the whole community’s

@glyph @davidism Yeah, glyph's got the lay of the land, my last straw was the announcement in my email today about them making it an "open AI platform" is the opposite of what I want from the software. The only power I have in this relationship is to stop paying for it and finding a different tool. So that's what I'm doing.

PyCharm is a unified product with the free core version that can be used for both commercial and non-commercial projects. (1/2)
