@iinavpov @cstross like I said; it's a VERY low barrier to entry. That's what makes it appealing. It's literally trivial to find places that will never shut down the accounts no matter what, and the engagement here is much much higher. They can make one inflammatory toot and get 100+ *replies* in an hour. And many of the servers will just make excuses for their lack of moderation, allowing those accounts to flood the zone and easily return even if they ever are banned.
