It's certainly true that the initial #Covid19 vaccine roll-out was phenomenally successful.
But I find it troubling that the government has largely given up on covid vaccines in more recent years.
The vaccines have undoubtedly saved lives, but they don't have a brilliant duration of immunity. Regular boosters are essential to maintain protection.
And regular boosters are no longer available on the NHS for the vast majority of us.

@statsguy@mas.to It's all such a gaping missed opportunity, imo. Health: Breaking chains of viral transmission. Politics: Engendering solidarity, resilience, and going some way to undoing all the divisiveness. Education: Vaccine literacy, evolution happening before our eyes in the fast-mutating virus itself.
