This is to Palestinians:
I've been deeply moved by photos of you and your families.
So I don't underestimate the power of images.
But images that could identify you are certainly risky.
You might want to change your tactic.
For example, show your child from behind instead of showing their face from the front.
Or hold them tightly against your chest so only their hair is visible.
Or small details like their hands.
These methods also can evoke strong emotion.

@tsbasatoru Of course, this must be done respectfully. If we want to share a message containing a photo of a child with their face visible, we can also hide the face ourselves and send them the modified photo for their message (a bit like alt text). And it's worth noting that on their phones, the vast majority of default image editing apps allow you to add a “sticker” over faces.
