@hyde I use the obsidian.nvim plugin. Obsidian itself is not required (indeed, I hardly ever use it), but it provides tools to maintain a folder of notes that is compatible with Obsidian's systems, such as linked notes, yaml metadata, tags, and note aliases. It provides completion for note links — probably its most useful feature. The original maintainer's version was quite opinionated, the currently maintained fork is gradually becoming less-so.
