@pre what's the android version you're using? I think the latest Google keyboard has a small search field to find emojis.

@cheeaun Just switched to Graphene. Think it's not using the Google keyboard not sure what it is using. Would not surprise me massively if there's some search method I don't know about. Usually more likely to compose a message on my Linux/XFCE machines really. If there's a way of launching an emoji picker I don't know it. Easier to just flip to Signal and copy/paste as I say. I keep the Mastodon Web client open in a tab for notifications and message composing since it's better at both of those than Phanpy is. Only replies are likely composed in Phanpy, primarily because of it's deficient emoji-picker that only has two emojis :boing: :tardis:
