@ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org if you don't mind sharing about how you host your Mastodon domain? Just curious about the hardware, are you using your own metal in the shed or AWS or?

@CliffsEsport AWS+cloudflare, but I would not recommend AWS because of the expense incurred for outgoing data ($$). If you are doing your own metal, I'd use Cloudflare for an external IP and tunnel to your machine. Probably the best is a local ISP with someone babysitting uptime with dual links, I have one of the machines on that arrangement and would move this whole thing there if I could.
