A few weeks back (you know, while I was under the pollen) I made a cape made out of bookshelf door liners for Jay. I finally got a few photos!
It's the Twig + Tale Traveller Cape (adult size), at a little longer than the "cloak" length to use up as much fabric as I could. #sewing

At one point he asked where I got the pattern, if it was authentic, etc... I said, "Well, you need about 3x as much fabric for me to make that Kinsale pattern you liked out of Folkwear, which is authentic, so you are getting the one I have enough fabric for. It was made as a dress-up cape for her daughter. So it's 'authentic' in that it was made by a mother to meet a child's need, which I am pretty sure is how they did things in medieval/renaissance times too."
