Sometimes @jupiter_rowland from time to time rants about we don't know other non-Mastodon implementations of fedi. We do. I (and few others) just find minimalistic snac2 & iceshrimp more attractive than hubzilla. But thanks to Rowland, I've heard about (streams) & forte. Never tried though. Alternative inconvinience is that Mastodon doesn't show much content from Lemmy, piefed & other similar platforms. Mastodon could benefit from the offer of stop being an Twitter replica. Even personal static web pages give more freedom (not mentioning Wordpress). And there is not much useful posts come from Friendica, Hubzilla, as even from other non-Mastodonian instances.
