Thank you very much, Rob! These ice balls are a very rare phenomenon (at least in New Mexico, where I live 🙂), and it is nice to know about them. Also, the video helps muchly - not only showing how they are transported, but also how chunks of ice can be milled by water movement into almost-spherical balls.
p.s. We'd love to have a few million tons of these things in the mountains of NM this year, if anyone is willing to ship them to us.
