@forty2 @tubetime when I was at the Smithsonian decades ago the had a Nikon F exquisitely sawed in half. I know not how

@glasspusher One quite often used tool is a diamond wire saw, that smoothly cut any construction material including glass, only a tiny amount of polishing the edges needed afterward For preaparation, any dissasemble-able part are dissasembled and reassembled with a drop of glue, to hold them together in place while the saw is running @forty2 @tubetime
