@Lkdc there are many Americans who have never left the U.S. The % with passports has grown in recent years, given cheap flights (compared to cost of inflation, flights haven’t risen as much) to different places, but it’s still only about half that have passports. I’m very familiar with it as an American who lives in Spain, and was familiar with it long before moving here. You can also see based on who the nation elected President, facts aren’t a strong suit for some! 🤷🏼‍♀️
