@T_X @dentangle FYI: GitLab happily collaborates with ICE. Here's what GitLab's CEO, Sid Sijbrandij, himself committed: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-com/www-gitlab-com/-/commit/b5a35716deb4f63299a23a40510475f5503c11c4 > vetting customers is time consuming and potentially distracting. GitLab employees are forbidden to discuss politics at work or raise concerns about GitLab's customers. Even when it's perfectly clear that a customer is evil, they want to "do business with customers with values that are incompatible with our own values". They "welcome everyone […] to be customers of GitLab" as they "do not currently exclude anyone from being a customer based on moral/value grounds." Here's a news article: https://www.theregister.co.uk/2019/10/16/gitlab_employees_gagged/

@davidculley @T_X Indeed. GitLab is rather easier to avoid, thankfully. There are a few projects that self-host the MIT-licensed software, but I've never had a GitLab account, nor needed one to contribute to FOSS.
