To be fair I think the idea of Mewtwo as cute is something largely done by the community. The anime and movies seem to portray them way more like a classical villain or monster. Not a cute kitty with psychic powers, in fact I don't think Mewtwo is acknowledged as cute in any official capacity. Mew is portrayed that way, but not Mewtwo.

yesyes im aware- this one *in particular* gives me that vibe... were yesyjust as u say, its a generally *not cutie peep* being *portrayed as cutie* but *aaaalso* them still *going the menacing thing*.... which feels like an overblown joke... may really just be me tho.
